As College and Career Programs Coordinator, I am responsible for implementing and scheduling all college visits, college events, several annual college fairs, special career events, practice SAT and ACT testing, Dual Enrollment with Community Colleges, Community Service opportunities, Youth Employment, ROP Career Specialist and much more! My main objective is to develop strong relationships with our university and college partners in order to effectively promote school culture and fit to students. By hosting over 300 college visits from the US and internationally, I have a comprehensive understanding of unique academic programs, global opportunities, scholarships, and components to consider when helping our students chose the perfect educational institution. I absolutely love coming to my work every day and seeing the smiles on our seniors' faces when they get accepted to their dream school!
What advice do you give students?
It doesn’t really make a difference what college or university you choose to attend. If you are committed to studying hard and getting good grades, you will successfully graduate with a college degree and be gainfully employed!
What else would you like to share?
Every year, students amaze me with something new and exciting. So much that I don’t think I’ll ever retire!
